One of my favorite ways to journal is to Journal with Beauty. Here is why... you are created to grow closer to God through the written word, the Bible. There is a deep connection when writing to Him as well.
When you journal your thoughts, prayers, and praise amongst beautiful images, it allows for the authentic expression of your soulful words to flow through your pen and onto the page. It's a subconscious reaction, but one that works.
I've found that journaling clears my brain, reduces stress, and creates new neural pathways within my brain. This is especially true when I associate the journaling with beautiful images.
I can feel the difference in my body and the clarity in my mind.
