You would think that once you've photographed an abundance of magnolias, you might have seen it all. I mean, there're only so many ways to capture their beauty and elegance... right?
Well, I was out with my daughter for an afternoon of fun at a local botanical garden. It was early in the season, but I knew magnolias were blooming. Around every corner, I was looking for one, at least one. For reasons unknown at the time, they were on my radar this spring.
On our way out of the garden, we found them. Maybe six trees or so. I started photographing, looked at my screen, and saw this breathtakingly beautiful and elegant composition. This one image has opened my imagination to a whole new way of photographing, creating with and dwelling in God's beauty.
