I can't believe it's been ten years already. Ten years since I picked up my first DSLR camera. It was a special gift, one that was Heaven sent just three months after my dad's passing. He wanted to surprise me and boy did it ever. When I have my camera in hand, I find myself transported into a of world quiet stillness. I feel like a hunter, but a hunter in the sense of a life-giving, Truth-bearing Beauty. These moments that take my breath away, I know they are Heaven-sent as well.

Not every photograph I take holds this kind of meaning. However, the ones that do fill my heart and soul with purpose, passion, and joy. They help me to see and experience the goodness and Beauty of God in my everyday...if I am open to receiving them.

My greatest hope is that you find peace, healing, and joy for yourself. We all are healing from something or have something we are walking through. Maybe things we don't share with others and that's ok. But the One who does know all, also knows what will bring your heart and soul peace.
