Heavenly Lavender in Soft Pastels

Are you as smitten with soft pastels as much as I am? My collection of them somehow just keeps growing. :) Another thing I love...lavender. So, I've combined the two into a beautifully immersive experience at New Life Lavender & Cherry Farm in Baraboo, Wisconsin. I am hosting SIX different classes over the two days of their Lavender Days Festival.

What is it that I love about using this medium? Well, for one, I think they remind me of being a child. The fun and freedom of seeing where the beautiful colors will take you as well as the layering and blending of colors. They offer such a soft and ethereal look, one that I love. It appears often in my photography.
